Brookswood.
Brookswood is a community in the Township of Langley with rural roots, consisting mainly of established homes on larger properties with trees and brooks. Located on the west side of the Township, south of the City of Langley, Brookswood nestles just north of Campbell Valley Regional Park and to the south of the Nicomekl River.
The luxury homes of High Point and farm-like properties of Campbell Valley can be found near Brookswood. Boutique wineries are also located in these areas, as well as many equestrian and outdoor activities.

Brookswood is largely a residential area. Residents can easily access the larger shopping and commercial services of Willoughby, to the north, by car or by transit. Brookswood also boasts of services and housing specifically designed for seniors, as well as the Brookswood Senior Centre.
As with many parts of Langley, equestrian enthusiasts are a large part of the Brookswood community, hosting the Langley Riders Society. Neighbouring communities of Campbell Valley and High Point offer horse boarding, riding and academy facilities.

There are five schools in Brookswood/Fernwood - three elementary, one middle-secondary and one secondary - as well as one elementary school in Campbell Valley. Brookswood is home to Newlands Golf and Country Club and the Langley Golf Centre, the Langley Rod & Gun Club and the George Preston Recreation Centre, with a hockey arena and curling rink. Next to the Preston Rec Centre is a skate park and a BMX track. The Brookswood disc golf course at Langley Passive Park is popular with disc golf enthusiasts.

Getting around.
East and west bound commuters can access both Highway 10 and Highway 1 via 200th Street. Translink bus service is accessible to most area residents via the main roads of Brookswood.
There is full-time fire protection provided by the Township of Langley. As with other town centres in Langley, policing is provided by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).
